What Is It?

The Cartagena de Indias Film Commission was established in December 2023 to position the city as a preferred destination for filming and audiovisual productions, while also supporting the professionalization of the local audiovisual sector by promoting training and local production through courses and incentive programs.

In addition, working closely with territorial authorities, companies, and stakeholders across the audiovisual value chain, the Commission created the Unified Permit for Audiovisual Filming in Cartagena (PUFAC) to facilitate filming management in the city’s public spaces.

The Film Commission is an initiative of the Mayor’s Office of Cartagena de Indias, through the Institute of Heritage and Culture of Cartagena de Indias (IPCC).
