Rafael Porto Hill
Film and television producer, director, and screenwriter born in Cartagena de Indias. He was a participant in the *Imaginando Nuestra Imagen* (INI, 2008) filmmaking workshop, organized by the Directorate of Audiovisuals, Cinema, and Interactive Media of Colombia's Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Knowledge. He served as field producer for the feature film *La Suprema* by Felipe Holguín—a project that won the FDC grant for regional fiction feature films, premiered globally at the Toronto International Film Festival, won the Audience Award at the Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival (FICCI), and won the 2024 Macondo Award for Best Cinematography. He was an assistant director on the miniseries *Don't Give Up: The Raizal Paradise* (Teleislas, 2019) by Alessandro Basile, a production that won the Caribbean Media Award for Best Drama Series. He also served as field producer during the Cartagena shoot for the documentary *Charlie Chaplin: The Spirit of the Tramp* (2022) by Carmen Chaplin.
