Landscapes & Skylines

Castillogrande is considered the most exclusive neighborhood in Cartagena. Although it accommodates tourism, it is a primarily residential area, and therefore its beaches are quieter and less crowded. Castillogrande's skyline is especially striking for its tall and luxurious buildings along the promenade, including the two tallest skyscrapers in the city and among the tallest in South America.

On the boardwalk you will find vendors selling typical food and drinks, as well as handicrafts, creating a festive atmosphere. On the beaches, with clean waters, water and sand sports are practiced, offering a characteristic scene in conjunction with its skyscrapers.

Castillogrande Neighborhood
  • It borders Bocagrande and El Laguito.
  • Because they are located on a peninsula, there is a single access point for both entry and exit to both neighborhoods (as well as El Laguito), which may experience vehicular congestion.
