Approximately 5 kilometers of urban beach running parallel to Avenida Santander. Marbella is a beach formed by small inlets separated by spurs where it is common to find amateur fishermen with fishing rods. At every dawn, these beaches preserve their fishing tradition, and with the arrival of small boats, fishermen sell their catch along the boardwalk.
They are narrow beaches where street vendors sell handicrafts, seafood, and drinks, and where there is also a continuous offering of massages and hair braiding services. Although they receive a certain flow of tourism, these beaches are the preferred choice of Cartagena’s residents on weekends, with easy access via urban transportation and no residential complexes or resorts built along the beachfront.
- The beaches close to swimming at 6:00 p.m.
- Lifeguard stations are located along the entire beachfront.
- Easy access to the airport and Bocagrande.
