The Getsemaní neighborhood is characterized by its bohemian air, with a bustling and festive nightlife that attracts a more relaxed, less luxurious and more partying tourism.  Among its streets and emblematic places: Calle de la Sierpe, Calle de San Juan, Calle del Arsenal, Calle del Pozo, Calle de las Tortugas, Calle de las Chancletas, El Pedregal, Calle larga, Centro de Convenciones, Parque Centenario, Camellón de los mártires and Muelle de los Pegasos...

Though it is becoming less common, some streets still retain the traditional life of longtime Getsemaní residents, who play softball and dominoes in the doorways of their homes. Getsemaní is also known for its murals and graffiti, hostels and boutique hotels.

At the exit to Venezuela Avenue is the Monument of India Catalina, one of the symbols of the city, which was born as a legacy of the International Film Festival of Cartagena de Indias
